Mr. Macaraeg
17 years teaching English literature in Lapu-Lapu
- 🇵🇭 Lapu-Lapu, Cebu, Philippines
- Highland Public School
- Since 2009
- English, Filipino
For 17 years I have been the English literature teacher at Highland Public School. I teach the final-year class and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 440 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mr. Macaraeg
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Macaraeg: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
