Mr. Lopez
Mathematics and religious studies teacher, Angeles
- 🇵🇭 Angeles, Pampanga, Philippines
- Sunrise Secondary School
- Since 2004
- English, Spanish
I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and 22 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've run the reading group after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mr. Lopez
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

My kids ask me about my favorite teacher, and it's always you. Greetings from Hamilton.

I was in your Year 10 class in 2015. You believed I could do it before I did. Truly.

you taught me mathematics in 2019 at Sunrise Secondary School. I still remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand.
