Mr. Karunaratne
Teacher at St. Anne's Academy, loves art

I came to teaching late, after working as a farmhand, and 40 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I'm always reading two books at once. Inside it, I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
More about Mr. Karunaratne
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Karunaratne: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me art in 1990 at St. Anne's Academy. I still remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam
