Mr. Jayasuriya
Retired economics teacher from Dehiwala High School
- 🇱🇰 Dehiwala, Western, Sri Lanka
- 1980 to 1998
- English, Sinhala
I taught economics at Dehiwala High School in Dehiwala from 1980 to 1998. Most days I taught Year 10, and I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
Outside the classroom I garden badly but happily. Inside it, I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Mr. Jayasuriya
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Jayasuriya: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
