Mr. Fernando
Drama and design and technology teacher, Colombo
- 🇱🇰 Colombo, Western, Sri Lanka
- Meadowbank Academy
- Since 1999
- English, Sinhala
I came to teaching late, after working as a mechanic, and 27 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've run the choir after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I'm learning the guitar.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mr. Fernando
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

I was in your first-year students class in 2005. You believed I could do it before I did Truly.

My kids ask me about my favorite teacher, and it's always you. Greetings from San Diego.

You taught me drama in 2008 at Meadowbank Academy. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.
