I came to teaching late, after working as a postal worker, and eleven years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 420 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mr. Black
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Black: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me computer science in 2015 at Kilimanjaro Boys' School. I still remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand.
