Mrs. Pomare
Art and early years teacher, Auckland
- 🇳🇿 Auckland, Auckland, New Zealand
- Fairview High School
- Since 1993
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a waiter, and 33 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I'm always reading two books at once. Inside it, I learn every name in the first week.
More about Mrs. Pomare
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Pomare: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
