Mr. Bandara
Mathematics and environmental science teacher, Colombo
- 🇱🇰 Colombo, Western, Sri Lanka
- Colombo Academy
- 1986 to 2006
- English, Sinhala
For 20 years I was the mathematics teacher at Colombo Academy. I taught Grade 8 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Mr. Bandara
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Bandara: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

I was in your Grade 8 class in 1996. You believed I could do it before I did! Truly.
