For 31 years I have been the physics teacher at Jaffna Technical College. I teach the youngest children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 650 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mr. Abeysekera
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Mr. Abeysekera: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
