Mónica J. Carrillo

Youth dance coach and mentor

  • 🇲🇽 Iztapalapa, Ciudad de México, Mexico
  • Iztapalapa Hope Youth Club
  • 1983 to 2011
  • Spanish
I coached dance at Iztapalapa Hope Youth Club from 1983 to 2011. Most of my players were between 8 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch.
