I taught English literature at Mecca Grammar School in Mecca from 2004 to 2014. Most days I taught Grade 4, and I never turned anyone away.
I ran the debate team after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I make terrible puns.
More about Mona
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
