For 14 years I was the history teacher at Santa Fe Public School. I taught primary school children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Miss Lozano: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
