Miss Avcı
34 years teaching special education in Üsküdar
- 🇹🇷 Üsküdar, Istanbul, Türkiye
- Üsküdar Public School
- 1996 to 2009
- English, Turkish
I taught special education at Üsküdar Public School in Üsküdar from 1996 to 2009. Most days I taught Grade 8, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I ran the drama society after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Miss Avcı
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
