Misaki Asuka Hirano

Helping people break into recovery

  • 🇯🇵 Fukuoka, Fukuoka, Japan
  • Lotus Mentoring Circle
  • Since 1999
  • Japanese, Spanish
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 700 people through Lotus Mentoring Circle. I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I bake for the whole street at New Year.

More about Misaki

Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.

What gifts mean to Misaki: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
