I coached rowing at Cầu Giấy Riverside Sports Club from 1990 to 2012. Most of my players were between 11 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
I'm still learning every day.
What gifts mean to Minh: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
