Meseret Bethlehem Belay
Self-taught woodcarving artist
- 🇪🇹 Adama, Oromia, Ethiopia
- The Adama Gallery
- 2005 to 2018
- English, Amharic
I got into woodcarving as a hobby and somewhere along the way it became the thing I do every day.
I also teach a weekly class at The Adama Gallery, which keeps me honest.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Meseret
I've had 8 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
