Mercy Auma Mbwambo

24 years teaching special education in Mbarara

  • 🇺🇬 Mbarara, Western Region, Uganda
  • Orchid Grammar School
  • Since 1993
  • English, Swahili
For 33 years I have been the special education teacher at Orchid Grammar School. I teach mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.

More about Mercy

Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Mercy: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
