Shoemaking for 16 years in San Nicolás de los Garza

My trade is shoemaking. I opened my own shop in 2006 in San Nicolás de los Garza and I'm still there most mornings. Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I carry a notebook everywhere. Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

What gifts mean to Mercedes: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
