I'm a athletics coach. I never went pro, but I got to see 160 kids fall in love with the game.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I make terrible puns.
More about Mensah
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Mensah: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.

I still think about the snow day nobody expected. Best summer of my life. Greetings from Liverpool.

You coached me in 2011. I still hear your voice on the sideline! Greetings from Istanbul.
