Meng Yao
Social studies teacher at Auckland Primary School, Since 1982
- 🇳🇿 Auckland, Auckland, New Zealand
- Auckland Primary School
- Since 1982

Auckland Primary School is my second home. I teach social studies there since 1982, mostly teenagers.
Outside the classroom I sing in a choir. Inside it, I answer every email, even at midnight.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Meng
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Meng: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
