I taught English literature at Harmony High School in Üsküdar from 2003 to 2025. Most days I taught Grade 8, and I learned every name in the first week.
I ran the reading group after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I walk the dog by the river.
Thank you for stopping by.
More about Melek
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Melek: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
