I've coached table tennis at Fayetteville Lakeview Community Club since 1980. Most of my players were between 10 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
