I got into oil painting as a hobby and somewhere along the way it became the thing I do every day.
Most of my work is inspired by old photographs. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
What gifts mean to Mekonnen: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
