Mekdes Bezawit Worku
Printmaking artist in Adama
- 🇪🇹 Adama, Oromia, Ethiopia
- Old Adama Gallery
- Since 1985
- English, Amharic
I work mostly in printmaking, sometimes mural painting. My first show was in 1985 at Old Adama Gallery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at Old Adama Gallery, which keeps me honest.

If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
