Mateo M. Torres
Youth rugby coach and mentor
- 🇺🇸 Tucson, Arizona, United States
- Tucson Boxing Gym
- Since 1995
- English, French
I've coached rugby at Tucson Boxing Gym since 1995. Most of my players were between 8 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never raise my voice.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Mateo
If you played for me, you probably remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.
What gifts mean to Mateo: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
