Mateo E. Rogers
Master of plumbing, now teaching apprentices
- 🇺🇸 Erie, Pennsylvania, United States
- The Brookfield Trades Guild
- 1996 to 2023
- English
I've worked in plumbing from 1996 to 2023. I learned from my father and passed what I could on to 1,220 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I answer every message, eventually.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Mateo
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Mateo: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
