I've spent nine years as a lecturer in computer science at Lakeview State University in Kobe. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I watch every football match going.
More about Masaru
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Masaru: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
