Marta Assefa
Choir director and singer
- 🇪🇹 Bahir Dar, Amhara, Ethiopia
- Bahir Dar Sakura Ensemble
- 1993 to 2023
- English
I play traditional drumming and classical. I started in 1993 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
My favorite gigs are the small ones where somebody cries a little in the third row.
More about Marta
I wrote my first song when I was 19. It was terrible and I still love it.
