Birtukan Teshome
Drums and saxophone teacher
- 🇪🇹 Addis Ababa, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
- Addis Ababa Music School
- Since 1980
- English, Amharic
I play drums and saxophone. I started in 1980 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
My favorite gigs are the small ones where somebody cries a little in the third row.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Birtukan
If you ever danced at one of my shows, I hope it was a good night.
What gifts mean to Birtukan: I'd put a gift toward recording a small album.
