I'm a baseball coach. I never went pro, but I got to see 800 kids fall in love with the game.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Marilyn
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Marilyn: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
