Marie Sanchez
Mentor in trades and nursing
- 🇨🇦 Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada
- Burnaby Learning Hub
- Since 1990
- English, French
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 1,080 people through Burnaby Learning Hub.
I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
More about Marie
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
What gifts mean to Marie: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
