Maria Vasquez
Coached rugby for nine years in Townsville
- 🇦🇺 Townsville, Queensland, Australia
- Townsville Community Club
- 1982 to 1991
- English
I coached rugby at Townsville Community Club from 1982 to 1991. Most of my players were between 10 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I'm always reading two books at once.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Maria
If you played for me, you probably remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly.

What gifts mean to Maria: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
