I've coached athletics at Brescia Boxing Gym since 2015. Most of my players were between 11 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I walk the dog by the river.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Maria
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Maria: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
