Margaret Wambui Maina
Mural painting and textiles artist
- 🇰🇪 Embakasi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Embakasi Gallery
- Since 1984
- English, Swahili
I'm a mural painting artist based in Embakasi. I've been making things since 1984 and I still get excited when a new batch of materials arrives.
Most of my work is inspired by the river near my house. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.

If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
