Manuela Aparecida Paiva
Helping people break into farming
- 🇧🇷 Niterói, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
- Niterói Community Trust
- 1986 to 2002
- Portuguese
For 16 years I've mentored people in farming and recovery. Mostly it's coffee, honest feedback and a lot of listening.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I'm always reading two books at once.
More about Manuela
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
What gifts mean to Manuela: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
