Helping people break into engineering

I'm a mentor in engineering. I've spent my career as a nurse and now give some of that back.
I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Manuel: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
