For 35 years I've run the baseball program at Newport Youth Club in Newport. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never raise my voice.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Maja
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Maja: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
