Helping people break into teaching
- 🇳🇵 Kathmandu, Bagmati, Nepal
- Kathmandu Foundation
- Since 1987
- English, Nepali
For 39 years I've mentored people in teaching and first-generation students. Mostly it's coffee, honest feedback and a lot of listening.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mahesh
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Mahesh: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
