I've coached boxing at Dehiwala Meadowbank Community Club since 2007. Most of my players were between 9 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I run most mornings.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
