For 15 years I've run the athletics program at Mount Pleasant Swimming Club in Fresno. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
