Lovely M. Magsaysay
Helping people break into software
- 🇵🇭 Iloilo City, Iloilo, Philippines
- Since 2000
- English, Filipino
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 550 people through Iloilo City Association.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
What gifts mean to Lovely: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.

You helped me get my first software job in 2001. I still have your notes. Greetings from Seville.

A small gift is a big thank-you.
