Lourdes G. Marquez
Master of bicycle repair, now teaching apprentices
- 🇵🇭 Lapu-Lapu, Cebu, Philippines
- Meadowbank Trades Guild
- Since 2009
- English
I've worked in bicycle repair since 2009. I learned from my uncle and passed what I could on to 320 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 18 years later for another job.
More about Lourdes
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Lourdes: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
