For 24 years I've run the athletics program at Coyoacán Boxing Gym in Coyoacán. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Lorena
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
