Lorena Patrícia Almeida

Helping people break into first-generation students

  • 🇧🇷 São Paulo, São Paulo, Brazil
  • Lakeview Foundation
  • 1986 to 2005
  • Portuguese
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 670 people through Lakeview Foundation. Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.

More about Lorena

Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
