Lorena Gabriela Barros
Helping people break into careers
- 🇧🇷 Brasília, Distrito Federal, Brazil
- Atlas Mentoring Circle
- Since 1989
- Portuguese
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 1,520 people through Atlas Mentoring Circle.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
More about Lorena
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Lorena: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
