Lorena D. Navarro
Coached chess for 17 years in Rockford
- 🇺🇸 Rockford, Illinois, United States
- Rockford Sports Club
- Since 2009
- English
I've coached chess at Rockford Sports Club since 2009. Most of my players were between 10 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
More about Lorena
If you played for me, you probably remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
What gifts mean to Lorena: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
