Long Dương Phung
Coached chess for eleven years in Hải Phòng
- 🇻🇳 Hải Phòng, Hải Phòng, Vietnam
- Crown Sports Club
- 2012 to 2023
- English, Vietnamese
For eleven years I ran the chess program at Crown Sports Club in Hải Phòng. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Long
If you played for me, you probably remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.
What gifts mean to Long: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
