An Doan
Coached boxing for 15 years in Thủ Đức
- 🇻🇳 Thủ Đức, Hồ Chí Minh City, Vietnam
- Thủ Đức Sports Club
- 1988 to 2003
- English, Vietnamese
I coached boxing at Thủ Đức Sports Club from 1988 to 2003. Most of my players were between 11 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I make terrible puns.
More about An
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to An: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.

You coached me in 2005. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Lyon.
