Lily Robinson
Bicycle repair for nine years in Sacramento
- 🇺🇸 Sacramento, California, United States
- Sacramento Shop
- 1985 to 1994
- English
I've worked in bicycle repair from 1985 to 1994. I learned from my father and passed what I could on to 460 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I never rush a conversation.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Lily
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.

What gifts mean to Lily: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
