I've coached basketball at Ottawa Beacon Football Club since 1996. Most of my players were between 8 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
